GummyBear 6 Report post Posted June 28, 2016 (edited) Hello, i'm pretty new here and I have a few questions for experienced people. I would like to buy a dedicated server for testing. In the Internet I found inexpensive cloud servers: https://www.ovh.com/us/vps/vps-cloud-ram.xml It is possible to set server on those vps cloud machine??? How it works? When I purchase this server I have to upload database and resource folder there? The operating system of this cloud machine is Windows Server 2012 - I have to install Microsoft SQL Server there and the rest I have to do like on windows? Wrexor 61 Report post Posted June 28, 2016 Hello, What you found is not a dedicated server but a shared server split in virtual machines. VPS CLOUD RAM 1 should be enough for pko server. Make sure you select windows operating system when ordering vps. Vps itself works like your pc, you get ip, username and password to connect to it using windows remote desktop. After you connect you will see desktop like on your pc, then you can install sql server, copy your server files and configure them.
