how can Cleric use Shield with staff

Can someone guide me to add the most personal shield function, I already created the shield in iteminfo.txt that I need.

as shown in image # 1. the character has the weapon in his right hand but when I try to place the shield the weapon goes to inventory as shown in image # 2

The staff uses the 2 spaces for the hands, if you place it in this way you can put staff and shield at the same time, you must put it in all the staffs that you will use and in apparel.
