Guilds have been greatly upgraded by adding a new guild level system as well as a guild vault, house and roles:


The vault is a shared inventory for all guild members, where both items and money can be deposited and withdrawn.

However, only the guild leader will decide who has the power to do so.

EXP will be awarded by completing collaborative quests or by killing bosses.

By leveling up, the guild will have a chance to add stat points to all members of the guild!

All graphical user interface controls can now be dragged in the new King of Pirates Client.

Controls are automatically saved in game configuration files and loaded when a new game instance is opened

In the event of missing configuration files, GUI controls are reset to their original positions

Extra vertical skill bar added for numerical keys (0-9)

You no longer have to fuse your equipment with an apparel.

Instead, equip it by double clicking an apparel in your inventory.

Any equipment that you like can be turned into an apparel.

Strengthening applies to equipments now, and remain irrespective of the apparel equipped.

Fairies can be equipped with apparels, too!



winter_icon.png New Maze - BATTLE ROYALE:




Registration via any Battle Royale Administrator NPC from either Argent City, Shaitan City or Icicle City.

The battle is held only once a week.

Maximum number of participants: 120, minimum number of participants: 30.

Unique map design.

Score needed to win the map will depend on the number of participants.

Every kill on the map grants 1 point to the team.

All players have a predefined set of balanced characteristics.

Potions of any kind could not be used inside of the map.




Team names, scores and time left are now displayed on a separate, map-specific, graphical user interface.

At the beginning, a certain number of mystic chests will be spawned across the map (same number of chests per team). Team A can destroy only its team's designated chests and is unable to destroy its opponents' chests.

By using chests you can obtain: 1 cannon (spawns a cannon that assists in defending the base), one tower, 1 friendly monster (attacks opponents) or a flag.

Flag is an item that can be used inside Battle Royale only. Whoever gets the flag is chosen as a “runner” for the whole map period, their mission is to run to the opponent’s base and click on the item which will summon a flag that cannot be destroyed. The closer flag is to the base, the more points team gets (1 – minimum, 10 – maximum). When a flag is spawned, the person who has spawned it is teleported back to their base, the flag is set on a cooldown of 1 minute.

Whatever team reaches the required number of points first - wins.

Cannot attack when using a mount in the Battle Zone.

Mounts models are no longer rendered in PK maps, however, all its attributes remain intact.

We have built unique models and animations, with many more to come!

Monster information is no longer triggered on mouse hover event, from now on it can be accessed by right clicking on the desired monster

Right clicking on a player no longer shows options that are not available to the character

Using AMPs automatically updates monster information percentage values

Game instance can be opened only using game launcher, closing the launcher will cause all game instances to be shut down

Player effect states now have its separate GUI and can also be turned on/ off directly from the launcher

Search pattern is no longer case-sensitive when searching for an item via item stalls

You can stall an item asking for another specific item(s) in return.

Fixed various sound-related issues


Skills Modifications:
Tornado can now be self-casted
Holy Judgement is now a regular skill with a cooldown of X seconds. Cleric rebirth skill has been replaced with Spiritual Radiance

New skill: Spiritual Radiance: Activate to make Spiritual Bolt bounce up to 3 targets, damage is reduced by 25% on each bounce, 35% on player targets. Spiritual Bolt damage is increased by 5% per skill level, maximum skill level: 3


Other Modifications:

Sharpshooters have now been introduced with bow unseals Lv45,55,65.

Bosses will not grant any guild experience points until guild-level 5 or above is achieved.

Wings are to be equipped to the character.

Any item can be used by placing it in the skill bar.

Fairies are fed directly by double-clicking on rations.

NPCs rotate so that they always talk looking at you directly.

Forsaken City (FC), Dark Swamp (DS), Demonic World (DW) and Chaos Argent (CA) are the traditional mazes that you will find in King of Pirates.


Both FC, DS and DW will open every 3 hours, while CA will open every 12 hours. However, CA will not open for the first week(s).

FC is accessed by the sea at the portal with coordinates (1509, 3666) in the Shaitan Region. Only players from Lv30 to 45 will be able to enter and the portal will remain open for 1 hour. It is divided into three levels, also known as FC1, FC2, and FC3. All regular mobs in FC are able to drop a Refining Gem, although with very small probability. Minibosses in the FC1 boss room will have a decent chance of dropping broken gems and an almost sure chance of dropping skeletar chests. We have maintained the original drops from the chests in FC1, FC2 and FC3. Every miniboss will grant 20 Guild Exp Points upon defeating them *. All mobs within FC1 respawn past 1 hour.


Death Knight: A Refining Gem is guaranteed to drop, and you may surprise yourself if you open enough Chests of Forsaken City… Lastly, it will also drop a Magic Stone Chest once the game is in a more advanced stage. By killing the Death Knight, your guild will gain 250 Guild Exp points *.

Similar to FC, DS is accessed by the sea at the portal with coordinates (2038, 2778) in the Shaitan Region. The portal will be open for one hour and you will need to be Lv40 to 55 to enter. It is also divided into 3 levels: DS1, DS2 and DS3. There is one miniboss per level, each of which has a decent chance of dropping cracked gems. Regular mobs have a small chance of dropping Refining Gems. Every miniboss grants 50 Guild Exp points upon kill *.


Huge Mud Monster: A Refining Gem is guaranteed to drop, as well as a Magic Stone Chest once the game is in a more advanced stage. We have added a sealed bow lv45 to the Chest of Dark Swamp. By killing the Huge Mud Monster your guild will gain 250 Guild Exp points *.

DW can be accessed if you’re Lv50 or higher at (910,1069) Argent Region, with a portal that closes after 40min. It is composed of two levels with a final boss at every level. All mobs in DW have a small chance of dropping Refining Gems and Chests in DW1 can drop Kal runestones (as usual). The final bosses have the usual drops from the classical version of the game. A Magic Stone Chest will also have a small chance of being dropped once the game is more advanced and they both give 250 Guild Exp Points upon killing *. Sealed bows Lv55 and 65 have been added to the chests that the final bosses drop.

CA opens every 12 hours at (1372, 530) in Icicle City. Novice Chaos Chests drop Refining Gems and Regular Gems (shadow, spirit, etc.). Same story for Standard Chaos Chests, albeit this time the “Regular Gems” that drop are different than those of the Novice one. Finally, Expert Chaos Chests can drop any of the Unique Gems and a Refining Gem.


Black Dragon mobs have the usual drops from the classic version of the game. But they also give 50 Guild Exp Points upon defeating.


* These Guild Exp Points are only awarded to guilds that are at least Lv5.

One of the distinctive features of KOP is its new guild system. In it, guilds can obtain experience as a whole and level up. This post is dedicated to better explain the mechanics of this system and it will be implemented as of the official opening (March 5th 2021).

Guilds start off at Lv0. To level up, they will require a certain amount of guild points, in the case of Lv0 being 1000 Guild Exp Points (GExp):






These points can be obtained either by completing quests or by defeating certain selected mobs (normally minibosses or bosses, more info will follow), but GExp from minibosses will not be obtained unless your guild is Lv5! This means that you and your guild will have to complete some of these (infinitely many, don't worry) quests.






Once your guild levels up, it will be rewarded with some gold coins. From Lv1 up to L10 you'll be rewarded with 1 gold coin, from Lv11 to Lv20 with 2 gold coins per level, and so on. These coins are the ones that can then be used to add some extra stats to ALL members of the guild. Some stats will be more costly than others, and each extra level of stats that you add costs a multiple of the base cost. For example, if adding some stat costs 5 GC the first time, it will cost 10 GC the second time, 15 the third time, and so on. The list of base gold coin costs are the following:


-- Physical Resistance: 30 GC | +1 per Lv | Max Lv3

-- Movement Speed: 10 GC | +5 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- Attack Speed: 6 GC | +2 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- Max Attack: 5 GC | +5 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- Defense: 5 GC | +5 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- Hit Rate: 5 GC | +4 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- Dodge: 5 GC | +2 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- HP Recovery: 3 GC | +2 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- SP Recovery: 3 GC | +2 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- HP: 5 GC | +60 per Lv | Max Lv5

-- SP: 5 GC | +40 per Lv | Max Lv5


All in all, a maxed out guild would require 960 coins, a feat that would only be achieved with a Lv134 guild. We don't expect to have guilds with as a high level as that, so be wise in which stats you decide to boost!
