Editing skills animation

Recommended Posts

Hello people,

So i'm trying to edit the snow ball throwable item animation. I figured that if I need to change it I have to change a certain .lab file, am I wrong?

I want to change the color of the snowball or the shape possibly too. Can someone guide me to the path on doing this. I was looking in itemeffect.lua and skillinfo.lua but didn't find a way to change how it looks in game. Any help? Thanks

So I can't edit animations? What I really want to do is change the color of the animations, not make new animations. For example, I want to make the skill "Illusion Slash" become red color when used instead of white. Any way to do that? thanks

Photoshop

Okay, we are getting somewhere. But I believe that the texture files for buildings and items is different than skills. Where can I find the texture files for skills?

Use Restore.exe to edit texture files, some skill effects cannot be re-colored, unless you view them in a 3D animation program I believe (No experience here). Myself as a texture modifer, I've only managed to re-colored stuff like apparels/some glow effects/pets/items.
